A number of records Nancy Ruppel Harris established as a charter member of the TLC women’s basketball program have stood the test of time.  She was a member of the first Lady Bulldog basketball team in 1972.  She averaged 24.4 points as a junior and 18.8 points in her career, both school records.  She also holds the TLC record for career free throw percentage, having hit 69% of her attempts.
