Texas Lutheran University

A 1941 junior college member, Holmes lettered in basketball and track.  He was a deadly shot and the team’s leading scorer, setting new season scoring records both years.  He was named to the All-South Junior College Team as a forward.  He was also a member of the sprint relay team which placed fourth in state.
