One of the most outstanding tennis players in our history, Ohlenbusch, a 1953 class member, led the ‘Dogs to two straight Big State titles in 1952 and 1953.  Teaming with two other seniors, they lost only seven matches in four years.  The 1952 and 1953 teams were considered the top small college teams in Texas.
