Kevin was a four-year letter winner in football and baseball.  He was a member of the two Bulldog NAIA Division II National Championship teams of 1974 and 1975.  He led the football team in interceptions with six and was named a NAIA Defensive First Team All-American in 1975.  For the Diamond Dogs, he played both infield and outfield in the 1973, 1975, 1976, and 1977 seasons, and led the team in batting in 1976 with a .324 average.
