Texas Lutheran University

One of the most gifted athletes to ever play for Texas Lutheran, quarterback Washington was the catalyst behind the back-to-back- NAIA National Football Championships in 1974, 1975, and 1976, is one of only two three-time All-Americans.  During his career at TLC, the football team went 39-5, and in 1984 Washington was named to the prestigious NAIA Hall of Fame for his accomplishments in football.  His #10 jersey is the only football jersey retired in school history.
