Bellamy was a four-year starter for the Bulldogs basketball team and ended her playing career as the second all-time leading scorer in school history with 1,677 points.  At the time her playing career concluded, she held 10 school records.  She was TLU’s first ESPN The Magazine (then called GTE) Academic All-American for NCAA DII, NCAA DIII and the NAIA.  She was a 1997-98 NAIA All-American, a 1998-99 Kodak All-American And a two-time NAIA All-America Scholar Athlete.
