SEGUIN, Texas -- Texas Lutheran forward Emerald St. Laurent (The Woodlands/Oak Ridge) was selected to the 2024-25 Academic All-District Team, the College Sports Communicators announced on Tuesday.
St. Laurent played in 28 of the Bulldogs 29 games this season with seven starts, averaging 3.2 points and 1.5 rebounds per game. The junior increased her averages in points, rebounds, and assists for a 24th-ranked TLU team that went 24-5 and made it to the NCAA Tournament Second Round for the first time in program history.
Outside of basketball, St. Laurent is a Psychology major and holds a 3.57 GPA. This is the first-time St. Laurent has earned Academic All-District honors.
The 2024-25 Academic All-District® Women's Basketball teams, selected by College Sports Communicators, recognize the nation's top student-athletes for their combined performances on the court and in the classroom. The CSC Academic All-America® program separately recognizes women's basketball honorees in four divisions — NCAA Division I, NCAA Division II, NCAA Division III and NAIA.
Academic All-District® honorees were considered for advancement to the CSC Academic All-America® ballot. Student-athletes selected as CSC Academic All-America® finalists are denoted with an asterisk and will advance to the national ballot to be voted on by CSC members. First-, second- and third-team Academic All-America® honorees will be announced April 15, 2025.
