SEGUIN, Texas – Texas Lutheran University placed 18 student-athletes on the Southern Collegiate Athletic Conference (SCAC) Student-Athlete Winter Academic Honor Roll, the conference office announced Tuesday.

A total of 352 student-athletes made the list. To qualify, a student-athlete must maintain a minimum grade-point average of 3.25 for the term and be a regular member of a varsity athletic team in a sport sponsored by the conference. The 352 honorees marks the most during the winter season since 359 student-athletes earned recognition in 2019-20.

Since its inception in the fall of 1997, just over 36,600 male and female student-athletes have been recognized for their contributions in the classroom.

Texas Lutheran men's and women's basketball had nine honorees each.

TLU women's basketball had two SCAC All-Conference honorees - Lauren Sansano and Angelina Sotelo- from the 2024-25 season that also picked up Academic Honor Roll recognition this year. The entire winter list can be viewed here.
