SEGUIN, Texas -- The reigning 2026 Southern Collegiate Athletic Conference (SCAC) Regular Season and SCAC Tournament Champion Texas Lutheran Bulldogs earned the No. 8 overall seed in the 2026 NCAA Division-III Softball Tournament and will host the Seguin Regional at Ed Kruse Stadium. Heading to Ed Kruse Stadium will be Huntingdon, Trinity, and Penn State Behrend.

This is the first time since 2022 and the fourth time overall that the Bulldogs have hosted a regional. Play will get going Thursday, May 14 when Texas Lutheran will take on Penn State Behrend at 11 a.m. No. 13 Huntingdon will then take on Trinity at 1:30 p.m with both games being broadcast on ncaa.com and TLU's YouTube Channel TLU+.

Thursday's winners will play game three at 11 a.m. Friday, May 15, while the losing teams from Thursday will meet in game four shortly after. Friday's games will conclude with the loser of game three and the winner of game four in a win-or-go-home meeting. The start time for Saturday's regional final is tentatively scheduled for 11 a.m.

The SCAC has two teams in this year's tournament with St. Thomas participating in the Marshall Regional. The winner of the Seguin Regional will advance to the NCAA Super Regional against the winner of the Waverly Regional, hosted by Wartburg College.

TLU has made the NCAA Tournament in 12 consecutive seasons all under head coach Wade Wilson. TLU swept Chapman in 2022's Seguin Regional and swept through the Ithaca Regional in 2025.

Tickets will be available at Ed Kruse Stadium. Tickets will be $15 for adults, $10 for students and senior citizens (65 and older), $5 for children, and children two and under are free per day. A tournament pass can also be purchased for $40 for adults or $30 for seniors for access to all games for the weekend.
