SEGUIN, Texas -- Following a 12th straight trip to the NCAA Tournament, the Texas Lutheran softball team will head to Czechia and Germany from October 10-18, competing and sightseeing in Munich and Prague. The Bulldogs will play at least two games against teams on the tour.
The trip starts in Czechia prior to the Bulldogs' stop in Germany before the Bulldogs return home to Seguin.
This will be the second foreign trip in program history following their trip to Italy in 2023. Thirty-six of 38 athletes on the 2026 fall roster will be traveling with the team, including 16 newcomers and the TLU Softball coaches as well as a few TLU softball alums.
"The chance to take a group of college students to another country halfway across the world will be an adventure," said head coach Wade Wilson. "We will have a chance to compete against two teams in their home country, which is a once in a lifetime opportunity. We are extremely excited!"
Streaming of the games is to be determined, but if the games are streamed all links will be available on tlubulldogs.com.
