SEGUIN, Texas -- The National Fastpitch Coaches Association (NFCA) announced the 2025-26 All-Academic teams and Easton/NFCA All-America Scholar-Athlete award winners on Thursday.

The Bulldogs had 11 athletes earn individual scholar-athlete recognition for having a 3.5 grade-point average or better.

Individual All-America Scholar-Athlete Award winners:

Kezia Alvear (Kyle/Hays), Cady Bowyer (Fulsher/Jordan), Caelee Clark (Montgomery/Lake Creek), Mia De Los Santos (Victoria/Victoria East), Carlee Feris (Houston/Cy-Ranch), Serena Gonzalez (Corpus Christi/Foy H. Moody), Katelyn Howard (Waller/Hempstead), Roccia Moreno (Eagle Pass/Eagle Pass), Natalie Pacheco (Lytle/Lytle), Taylor Vannett (Kingwood/Kingwood), and Daniella Zapata (McAllen/Sharyland Pioneer).

Gonzalez, Howard, and Vannett add to their Academic All-American honors earned earlier this summer.

The rankings and honors recognize the academic prowess of softball teams across the Association's membership categories. NCAA Division I led the way with 2,637 student-athletes earning a 3.5 grade-point average or higher for 2025-26. NCAA Division III followed with 2,493 and NCAA Division II with 1,869. Junior colleges and NAIA came in with 1,190 and 655 student-athletes respectively. Seven student-athletes from Bay Path University earned recognition in the Other Four-Year category.
