SEGUIN, Texas -- No. 22 Texas Lutheran's Parker Cabra (Schertz/Randolph) was named the Southern Collegiate Athletic Conference (SCAC) Track Athlete of the Week on Tuesday, earning the award for the second time in three weeks.

Cabra finished third overall and first among Division-III competitors in the 110m hurdles at the War Hawk Classic, finishing in 14.51 seconds. Cabra's 14.51 time set a new school record in the event, surpassing the previous record of 14.62 set by Paris Foster in 2019. Cabra added a fourth place finish in the high jump with a mark of 1.92m (6' 3.5").

After this weekend, Cabra ranks 24th nationally in the 110m hurdles and 36th in the high jump, helping lead the Bulldogs to a number 22 national ranking.

Texas Lutheran has won the track athlete of the week honor four weeks in a row.
