HOUSTON, Texas -- The Texas Lutheran men's golf team opened the 2026 season at the Space City Classic at Gus Wortham Park Golf Course in Houston, Texas, on Monday.
The Bulldogs carded a two round score of 34-over par round of 602 to sit in sixth place. No. 13 Southwestern University leads the tournament after day one at three-under par 565.
Cooper Hollomon (Bellville/Bellville) paced the Bulldogs on Monday with a one-over par 143 - sitting in a tie for ninth.
Brandon Munson (Livingston/Livingston) posted a two-round score of 151 (+9) to finish 28th. Van Miller (Katy/Seven Lakes) finished two strokes behind at 11-over through 36 holes to tie for 33rd place.
The Bulldogs are set to tee off in the third and final round of the Space City Classic at 8:30 AM on Tuesday, March 10. Live scoring will be available here.
