MOORPARK, CA --
Van Miller (Katy/Seven Lakes) earned his third top ten finish of the 2025-26 season on Tuesday, finishing in third place, while the Texas Lutheran men's golf team finished fifth at the 2026 Kingsmen Invitational hosted by Cal Lutheran University at Moorpark CC on Tuesday.
TLU shot 14-over as a team on Tuesday to finish the tournament 27-over overall for a fifth place finish. No. 24 Pomona-Pitzer would win the tournament with a final score of 15-over. Miller led the Bulldogs Tuesday with a second straight even-par round. Miller's third place finish with a score of 144 (E) led the Bulldogs individually while Cooper Hollomon (Bellville/Bellville) would join Miller in the top ten, tying for seventh at four-over over 36 holes.
Brandon Munson (Livingston/Livingston) would be the final Bulldog in the top 15, shooting seven-over overall tying for a 15th place finish.
Octavio Cantu (Mission/Sharyland) tied for 40th place at 16-over while Shea Eason (Round Rock/Round Rock) tied for 45th place at 21-over.
Texas Lutheran returns to action next week at the Linda Lowery Invitational hosted by Concordia University in Austin, March 23-24.
