SEGUIN, Texas -- No. 23 Texas Lutheran's Parker Cabra (Schertz/Randolph) and Amir McClain (Converse/Veterans Memorial) earned Southern Collegiate Athletic Conference (SCAC) Athlete of the Week honors, the league announced Tuesday evening.

Cabra, a sophomore from Schertz, earned co-Track athlete of the week honors following an impressive performance at the David Noble Relays. Cabra finished fourth in the 110m hurdles with a Cabra also added a second place finish in the high jump with a final mark of 2.00m (6' 6.75"). Cabra ranks in the Top 20 nationally in both events.

McClain, a sophomore from Converse, was named the SCAC Field Athlete of the Week after winning the triple jump at the David Noble Relays with a mark of 14.72m (48' 3.5"), breaking his own program record in the triple jump for the second week in a row. McClain ranks second nationally in the triple jump.

Texas Lutheran returns to action in San Antonio for the Trinity Invitational starting on Friday, April 3.
