BATESVILLE, AR -- The Texas Lutheran women's golf team finished third at the 2025 Scots Fall Invitational hosted by Lyon College at the Course at Eagle Mountain in Batesville, Arkansas, Tuesday evening. The Bulldogs finished the tournament shooting 145-over par over 36 holes.
After entering the final round with a one stroke lead, sophomore Belle Asbury (San Antonio/Davenport) ended the final round on Tuesday in fourth place. Asbury shot 14-over on Tuesday to finish the tournament 24-over and finish in the top ten for the fifth time in her young career.
Jordyn Ponewash (Flatonia/Flatonia) finished in a tie for eighth - concluding the tournament at 29-over par for the second top ten finish of her career.
Lillian Niemeyer (Conroe/Conroe) finished 15th at 37-over while Danielynn Conde (Raymondville/Raymondville) finished 23rd with a two-round score of 55-over.
Texas Lutheran returns to action Oct. 6-7 at the Carla Spenkoch Invitational hosted by Trinity University at The Quarry Golf Club in San Antonio.
