SEGUIN, Texas -- In an announcement made by the Southern Collegiate Athletic Conference (SCAC) Wednesday afternoon, sophomore Belle Asbury (San Antonio/Davenport) has been named the SCAC Women's Golfer of the Week for the second week in a row. The weekly honor is Asbury's second of the season and third of her career.

Asbury took her third top five finish in the Bulldogs four fall tournaments, placing in third at the 2025 Abilene Intercollegiate. The sophomore concluded the event at 16-over par.

Asbury opened the tournament with an 8-over 79 round in the first round and followed up with another 79 in the tournament's final round. Asbury was best among the field in par four scoring, with a 4.32 scoring average. 

Asbury and the Bulldogs will return to the course this spring.
