SEGUIN, Texas -- Texas Lutheran All-American senior guard Lauren Sansano (San Antonio/FEAST) and senior forward Emerald St. Laurent (The Woodlands/Oak Ridge) have been named to the College Sports Communicators (CSC) 2025-26 Academic All-District women's basketball team.

The two selections to the team are the most in the Troy Patterson era. Sansano and St. Laurent both earn the honors for the second time in their careers.

Sansano was selected as a CSC Academic All-America finalist and will advance to the national ballot to be voted on by CSC members. First-, second- and third-team Academic All-America® honorees will be announced April 15.

Sansano, who earned WBCA All-America Honorable Mention honors last week, led Texas Lutheran in scoring 11 times and averaged a career-best 14.6 points per game, the best on the team. The senior guard averaged 5.2 rebounds, 4.5 assists, and 2.3 steals throughout the 2025-26 season. She scored in double figures in 21 of her 27 outings including seven 20-plus games, including the first 20-point triple-double in program history. Nationally, Sansano finished 7th in free throw percentage (88.8) and 28th in assists (121).

St. Laurent played in 25 of the Bulldogs 27 games this season, averaging 2.8 points and 1.9 rebounds per game. St. Laurent is a Theology and Psychology double major and holds a 3.65 GPA.

The College Sports Communicators Academic All-District award honors the nation's top student-athletes for their combined performances on the court and in the classroom.
