WESTWORTH VILLAGE, Texas -- Texas Lutheran men's golf moved into third place on moving day at the 2026 Southern Collegiate Athletic Conference (SCAC) Men's Golf Championship.
TLU came into day two tied for first place with LeTourneau but after shooting seven-over as a team on Monday the Bulldogs slid to third place. The Bulldogs trail LeTourneau by ten strokes entering Tuesday's final round.
Van Miller (Katy/Seven Lakes) moved up one spot to sit in third place with a one-over score on Monday, entering the clubhouse one-over through 36 holes. Miller trails the leader in the clubhouse by two strokes.
Cooper Hollomon (Bellville/Bellville) joined Miller in the top five, moving up two spots to tie for fourth after a second straight even par round.
Octavio Cantu (Mission/Sharyland) moved up eight spots after shooting two-over par on Monday, sitting at nine-over par to tie for 31st.
Brandon Munson (Livingston/Livingston) improved by two shots in the the second round, shooting four-over in round two to tie for 36th while
Shea Eason (Round Rock/Round Rock) was ten-over in round two, falling to 40th place.
The Bulldogs will begin the final day of the 2026 SCAC Championships tomorrow morning with the tournament streamed on FloCollege.
