BELTON, Texas -- Texas Lutheran Acrobatics and Tumbling continued the 2026 season with a matchup against the 8th-ranked Mary Hardin-Baylor Crusaders on the road at Mayborn Campus Center in Belton. The Bulldogs would drop the meet to the Crusaders with the Bulldogs (0-2) earning a total score of 105.625 and the Crusaders (2-1) earning a total score of 248.705
Texas Lutheran scored a new season-high 17.8Â in the compulsory, including a 4.15 in acro, 7.25 in pyramid, and 6.40 in toss out of the highest possible value of 10. UMHB outscored the Bulldogs in the compulsory, earning a 35.20Â total score.
After the acro event, TLU continued to trail the deeper, more experienced Crusaders. Texas Lutheran earned a total score of 19.8 consisting of a 7.00 in the fifth element, 6.50 in the sixth element, and 6.30 in the seventh element.

Mary Hardin-Baylor would out score the Bulldogs in the pyramid event, 28.70 to 22.050.
Leading into the half, TLU trailed UMHB 92.30 - 59.65.Â

The Crusaders took the toss event, with event scores being 27.050 - 20.650. Texas Lutheran earned a 7.800 in salto, 5.400Â in synchronized, and 7.450 in open.

UMHB also took the tumbling event, outscoring TLU 48.375 to 25.325.
