SUWANEE, GA -- Seven Southern Collegiate Athletic Conference fall sports programs were recognized by the league as recipients of the SCAC Student-Athlete Advisory Committee Team Sportsmanship award in balloting conducted following each sport's respective season. In that balloting, Texas Lutheran football and women's cross country took home Team Sportsmanship honors for the Fall 2025 season.
The SCAC Student-Athlete Advisory Committee instituted the award prior to the 2016-17 academic year to honor the team that best portrays good sportsmanship and fair play from the players and coaches during the season. The fall awards are presented in men's and women's cross country, football, men's and women's soccer and volleyball.
Texas Lutheran women's cross country shared the honors with Colorado College. This represents the second time in program history the women's cross country program has received this recognition, having previously been honored in 2023.
TLU earned the SCAC SAAC Team Sportsmanship award in football for the second consecutive year. The Bulldogs are the first football program in SCAC history to earn the honor in consecutive seasons.
