LUBBOCK, Texas -- The Texas Lutheran women's track and field team competed in the Jarvis Scott Open this weekend at the Texas Tech-Sports Performance Center on the campus of Texas Tech University in Lubbock to conclude the indoor season. TLU would be the lone Division-III team competing in the meet.
Mikayla Kidney (San Antonio/SA Patriots) finished eighth in her heat in the 60m dash (8.04) and second in her section in the 200m dash (27.00).
Katie Kostelnik (Hallettsville/Sacred Heart Catholic) finished fourth in her section in the 400m dash (1:00.97) while
Ciarah Garcia (Pleasanton/Pleasanton) finished fifth in hers with a time of 59.77.
Mackenzie Combs (New Braunfels/Canyon) finished 15th in the the 3000m run with a time of 10:52.29.
The TLU 4x400m relay team comprised of Garcia, Kidney, Kostelnik, and
Hazel Bowman (Killeen/Shoemaker) ran a season-best time of 4:03.33.
