NEW ORLEANS, LA -- Senior thrower Julissa Rodriguez (Deer Park/Deer Park) has been named All-Region by the USTFCCCA for her performance in the 2025 NCAA Division-III Outdoor Track & Field season. All-Region honors were announced on Wednesday by the U.S. Track & Field and Cross Country Coaches Association (USTFCCCA) following the conclusion of the regular season.
Top-5 individuals in each event from each region earned All-Region honors, in addition to each of the members of a top-3 ranked relay team.
Only USTFCCCA member programs are eligible for awards.
Rodriguez earns All-Region honors for the outdoor season for the second time in her career as the senior earned the honors in the discus and the shot put. Rodriguez ranked fourth in the shot put with a mark of 13.01m (42' 8.25"0), earning her second place at the 2025 SCAC Championships. She ranked fifth in the West Region in the discus with a mark of 40.54m (133'0") at the 2025 D3 Challenge.
Her honors add to the list of All-Region honors for TLU Women's Track and Field in 2024-25 as Taylor Norrell (60m hurdles) earned All-Region honors during the indoor season.
