SEGUIN, Texas -- Texas Lutheran women's track and field wrapped the Southern Collegiate Athletic Conference (SCAC) Championships with a fifth place finish on Sunday tallying 74 points over the three-day meet.
Katie Kostelnik's (Hallettsville/Sacred Heart Catholic) third place finish in the 400m dash highlighted the final day for the Bulldogs. Kostelnik earned the bronze medal with a time of 59.46 seconds.
Kirsten Smith (Yoakum/Yoakum) added five points to the Bulldogs tally with a final mark of 37.01m (121-5.00) to finish fourth.
Kamilah Tanner (Killeen/Robert M. Shoemaker) finished fifth in the 400m hurdles with a time of 1:06.39.
The Texas Lutheran 4x100m and 4x400m relay teams each earned fifth place finishes with times of 49.59 and 4:04.92.
Taylor Norrell (Lake Jackson/Brazosport) finished seventh in the 100m hurdles with a time of 15.66 seconds.
