SEGUIN, Texas -- Six members of the Texas Lutheran women's soccer team were named to the College Sports Communicators (CSC) 2025-26 Academic All-District team on Tuesday. Earning honors include Noelani Ajel (Cibolo/Steele), Natalia Cortez (Edinburg/Robert Vela), Kristina Cromwell (Spring/Klein Collins), Alysa Marquez (Miami, FL/Dr. Michael Krop), Caitlin Roach (Houston/Manvel), and Monica Sitachitta (Spring/Grand Oaks). The six honorees are the most in program history.

CSC All-District recognizes the nation's top student-athletes for their combined performances on the field and in the classroom. To qualify, student-athletes must maintain a 3.50 GPA, have a minimum of one year completed at their current institution and have played in at least 90% of their team's contests from the current season. Ajel and Marquez will now move on to the CSC Academic All-America ballot that will be announced Dec. 17. 

Cortez, Marquez, and Roach earned honors for the second straight season, while Ajel, Cromwell, and Sitachitta received accolades for the first time in their short careers. 

Ajel was an All-SCAC First Team honoree and became TLU's first ever SCAC Defensive Player of the Year.

Cortez and Marquez earned All-SCAC Second Team honors while Roach was All-SCAC honorable mention.

All six Bulldogs have combined to hold a 3.72 grade-point average over their collegiate careers.
