FLOWOOD, MS -- The Texas Lutheran men's golf team fired a final round of one-over (289) on Tuesday to post a dominant 15-stroke victory at the Belhaven Invitational at The Refuge Golf Club in Flowood, Mississippi to conclude the 2025 fall season. Sophomores
Cooper Hollomon (Bellville/Bellville) and
Brandon Munson (Livingston/Livingston) tied for first in the tournament with 36-hole scores of three-under with Hollomon winning the tournament following two playoff holes.
Texas Lutheran posted a two-round total of eight-over par 584 (295-289) to claim its first championship since last fall's Crusader Cup almost a year ago to the date.
In Tuesday's final round, Texas Lutheran counted scores from Hollomon (2-under 70), Munson (even-par 72),
Van Miller (Katy/Seven Lakes) (even-par 72),
Shea Eason (Round Rock/Round Rock) (3-over 75), and
Jeffrey Janik (Harlingen/Harlingen School of Health Professions) (3-over 75).
Van Miller climbed 12 spots to finish in a tie for tenth at six-over par while Eason finished tied for 14th at eight-over.
Hollomon and Munson both earned All-Tournament honors.
