WESTWORTH VILLAGE, Texas -- The Texas Lutheran men's golf team earned a third place finish at the 2025 SCAC Fall Preview hosted by University of Dallas at Hawks Creek Golf Club in Westworth Village, Texas, on Tuesday.
The Bulldogs closed the event with a round of 297 with a 36-hole total of 592, 16-over par. Schreiner and St. Thomas combined to win the event with both squads finishing two-over par (578) at the par-72 course.
St. Thomas's Jesus Del Aguila posted a six-under total of 138 to claim first-place - winning the event by two strokes.
Brandon Munson (Livingston/Livingston) finished in a tie for ninth overall with a two-over par total of 146.
Cooper Hollomon (Bellville/Bellville) climbed eight spots on the leaderboard to finish tied for 20th overall alongside teammate Shea Eason (Round Rock/Round Rock) at six-over par (150). Jeffrey Janik (Harlingen/Harlingen School of Health Professions) and Van Miller (Katy/Seven Lakes) finished a stroke behind to finish in a tie for 25th place.
TLU returns to the course October 27-28 at the Belhaven Invitational at the Refuge Golf Club in Flowood, Mississippi to conclude their 2025 fall season.
