SEGUIN, Texas -- Mackenzie Combs (New Braunfels/Canyon) earned the honor of Southern Collegiate Athletic Conference (SCAC) Women's Cross Country Runner of the Week after the second meet of her senior season, the conference announced Tuesday morning.

This award comes after Combs once again finished as the team's leader at the UIW XC Invitational with a 17th place finish as she finished the 5K course in 18:13 running at a pace of 6:04/mile. The time was third amongst Division-III runners.

Combs finished sixth at last year's SCAC Championship and holds the TLU program record in the 6K with a time of 22:32.26. Combs is now a three-time SCAC Runner of the Week, with every honor coincidentally coming in mid-September.
