Women's Tennis Splits Arkansas Trip to End Season; Reach Highest Win Tally since 2019

Box Score 1 | Box Score 2 SEGUIN, Texas -- Texas Lutheran women's tennis split their Friday doubleheader in Arkansas, winning 4-1 against Ozarks (AR) to start the day before falling to Hendrix 6-1 hours later.

Texas Lutheran finishes their season with a 7-7 record, finishing 4-6 in SCAC play in 2026. The seven wins are the most in a single-season under head coach David Mueller and the most in a single-season since 2019.

In Friday's first match that took place at 9 AM in Clarksville, Arkansas, the only point the Bulldogs would drop on Saturday would be a loss in No. 2 singles.

Texas Lutheran dominated doubles play, winning all three matches against the Eagles.

TLU won three of the four singles matches that finished in straight sets with Lucero Alvarado (San Antonio/Southwest), Isabella Barber, and Isabella Hill (Pearland/Pearland) leading the Bulldogs to victory.

Following the conclusion of that match, the Bulldogs traveled an hour south to Conway to face Hendrix College.

Texas Lutheran was swept in doubles competition.

Isabella Hill would earn the Bulldogs lone point of the evening in singles competition, rallying to win her singles match 6-7, 6-0, 10-3.
