SEGUIN, Texas -- Texas Lutheran women's tennis improved to 6-5 overall and 3-4 in SCAC play Friday afternoon after defeating McMurry, 6-1, at TLU's Ohlenbusch-Rinn Tennis Center.
The six wins are the most for the women's tennis program since 2019.
Due to the War Hawks having just two players, the Bulldogs won the match before even stepping on the court on Friday.
The Bulldogs won the doubles point by default, but would drop the lone match that was physically played.
Texas Lutheran split the two singles matches played on Friday with Isabella Barber winning in No. 2 singles in three sets, 6-3, 3-6, 10-8.
Up next, Texas Lutheran faces Schreiner in their final home contest of the 2026 season at the Ohlenbusch-Rinn Tennis Center on Saturday, April 11th. First serve is set for 11 AM.
