SEGUIN, Texas -- Texas Lutheran women's tennis dropped their Southern Collegiate Athletic Conference (SCAC) match to Schreiner Saturday afternoon, 6-0, at TLU's Ohlenbusch-Rinn Tennis Center in their 2026 home finale.

With the loss, Texas Lutheran was eliminated from SCAC Tournament contention.

The Bulldogs were swept in women's doubles and singles competition.

In doubles competition, both matches that finished ended with 6-4 results in favor of Schreiner.

In singles, Lucero Alvarado (San Antonio/Southwest) attempted to rally but fell short 3-6, 7-5, 1-6. Isabella Barber also fell in three sets 5-7, 7-5, 3-6.

Up next, Texas Lutheran will begin their final road trip of the regular season as they travel to Arkansas for their first of two matches beginning on Friday, April 17 against Hendrix. First serve is set for 3 PM.
