The Bulldogs (5-4, 2-3 SCAC) dropped the doubles point and claimed straight set singles decisions on courts two and three. Texas Lutheran swept the bottom-half of singles play but the YellowJackets clinched the match on three in a match that took all three sets to decide.

The Bulldogs were swept in doubles competition with the team of Ajonte St. Ville (St. John's, Antigua and Barbuda AESA Prep International (TX)) and Kadon Sullins (Kyle/Lehman) pushing their match to a 7-5 decision.

Texas Lutheran and LeTourneau would split their singles matches 3-3 and were a decisive third set in #4 singles from stealing the pivotal conference outing.

Jackson Leslie (New Braunfels/New Braunfels) would be the only Bulldog to win their match in straight sets, winning in No. 6 singles, 6-1, 6-3. Kadon Sullins and Barrett Spaar (Spring Branch/Smithson Valley) would need three sets to claim their singles victories. Sullins won in No. 3 singles 2-6, 7-5, 6-1 while Spaar earned the victory in No. 5 singles 1-6, 6-4, 6-1.

Texas Lutheran will look to bounce back tomorrow, March 28, as they travel to Houston to face St. Thomas at 2 PM.
