SEGUIN, Texas -- Texas Lutheran men's tennis picked up their fifth win in their last six matches after sweeping Austin College,7-0, Saturday afternoon at TLU's Ohlenbusch-Rinn Tennis Center.
Texas Lutheran swept in both doubles and singles competition.
The team of Cash Herrera (New Braunfels/New Braunfels) and Eric Moninger (New Braunfels/New Braunfels) won in No. 1 doubles, 6-2, while Kadon Sullins (Kyle/Lehman) and Ajonte St. Ville (St. John's, Antigua and Barbuda/AESA Prep International (TX)) secured the doubles point with a 6-3 win. Logan Randall (Idalou/Idalou) and Barrett Spaar (Spring Branch/Smithson Valley) completed the sweep with a 6-1 victory.
The Bulldogs won all six singles matches in straight sets, all in rather decisive fashion.
Texas Lutheran will travel to Longview, Texas, to face LeTourneau on Friday, March 27 as the Bulldogs enter the heart of conference play. First serve is scheduled for 3 PM.
