ABILENE, Texas -- The Texas Lutheran women's tennis team wrapped up play in the 2025 ITA Southwest Regional Championships hosted by Hardin-Simmons University in Abilene on Saturday.

Cassandra Benavides (San Antonio/Smithson Valley) fell in the quarterfinals of the B Draw Consolation Bracket 3-6, 1-6 to Concordia (TX) while Adison Ortega (San Antonio/Smithson Valley) won her quarterfinal match, 6-0, 6-3 over Schreiner. Ortega would drop the semifinal match to the eventual consolation bracket champion from Concordia (TX), 1-6, 0-6.

The ITA regional concludes the Texas Lutheran Women's Tennis fall season. The Bulldogs will return to the court this spring.
