SEGUIN, Texas -- Texas Lutheran Softball announced its complete 2026 season schedule Thursday with the upcoming slate featuring games against two teams that were in the 2025 NCAA Tournament and four teams that were featured in the NFCA Top 25 Poll last season.
Texas Lutheran will look to win their 12th straight SCAC regular season title and their tenth SCAC Tournament title after winning the regular season title in 2025.
TLU will play games against two teams that finished in the final 2025 Top 25 rankings in St. Thomas and WashU. All five of those games will take place at Ed Kruse Stadium.
TLU's season begins at home as they host Mary Hardin-Baylor on Feb. 6. The following week the Bulldogs will travel north to Abilene to begin SCAC play against McMurry Feb. 13-14. The Bulldogs will close out the month of February at home with conference series against St. Thomas (Feb. 20-21) and LeTourneau (Feb. 27-28).
The Bulldogs will travel north to Sherman to face Austin College March 6-7 before returning home to face WashUÂ in a midweek doubleheader on March 11. The Bulldogs will get right back on the road and travel to Clarksville, Arkansas, for the second straight season to face Ozarks (AR) March 13-14.
Texas Lutheran will return to Ed Kruse Stadium for the longest home stretch of the season running March 18-28. The homestand starts with six games in three days against St. Olaf, Bethel (MN), and Tufts March 18-20 before returning to SCAC play against Schreiner March 27-28.
The final third of the regular season starts with a trip to Shreveport to face Centenary April 2-3 before returning to Seguin to host Hendrix College for the first time at Ed Kruse Stadium April 10-11. Texas Lutheran travels to Concordia (TX) April 17-18 before finishing the regular season home slate by hosting Dallas April 24-25.
The SCAC Tournament heads to Abilene May 1-3. NCAA Regionals follow May 14-16 and NCAA Super Regionals are set for May 21-22.
The 2026 DIII Women's College World Series gets underway May 28 and runs through June 3 at the Moyer Sports Complex in Salem, VA.
TLU went 29-1 in the SCAC in 2025, finishing first in the conference before finishing as the runner-up in the 2025 SCAC Tournament. Texas Lutheran returns 12 players from last year's WCWS team, including 2025 Academic All-American
Serena Gonzalez (Corpus Christi/Foy H. Moody) and two-time All-American
Caelee Clark (Montgomery/Lake Creek) and welcome 21 newcomers.
