Bulldogs Beat Concordia (TX), 1-0, in Regular Season Finale

ROUND ROCK, Texas -- Texas Lutheran defeated Concordia (TX) in their regular season finale, 1-0, at Round Rock Multipurpose Complex in Round Rock, the host site of next week's SCAC Championship Tournament. The victory ensured an unbeaten conference record for the SCAC Champion Bulldogs, yet another first in program history, who finished the regular season with a 12-3-2 overall and 9-0-1 SCAC record. Texas Lutheran ends the regular season on a twelve-game unbeaten streak - the longest in program history.

A second-minute goal by Lilly Noblett (San Antonio/Warren) was all Texas Lutheran needed in their 1-0 victory over the Tornados.

Noblett answered the early wake up call for the Bulldogs, scoring her eighth goal of the season just 2:35 into the match. A through ball from Klarissa Martinez (Houston/Incarnate Word Academy) found a streaking Noblett who raced past the defense to fire her team-leading goal in the bottom left corner. With her assist on Noblett's goal, Martinez not only tied Katie Buehler's (2007) single-season record with 11 assists in 2025, but also passed Christy Trevino (2000-03) to become the program's new leader in career assists with 23.

The Bulldogs defense held Concordia (TX) (5-8-4, 5-3-2 SCAC) to just four shots in the contest while picking up their ninth shutout of the season. Alysa Marquez (Miami, FL/Dr. Michael Krop) and Alexis Morrison (Cedar Park/Vista Ridge) teamed up for the sixth combined shutout for the Bulldogs this season. Marquez had two saves over the first 76 minutes while Morrison had one save in just under 14 minutes of action.

The Bulldogs will enjoy a first round bye in the 2025 SCAC Tournament before facing the winner of the No. 4 seed v. No. 5 seed matchup on Friday, Nov. 7 at noon at Round Rock Multipurpose Complex. The match and entire tournament will be streamed on FloCollege. All streaming and live stats links will be available on tlubulldogs.com.
