FLOWOOD, MS -- The Texas Lutheran's men's golf team shot a combined 295 (+7) during its first round at the 2025 Belhaven Invitational hosted by Belhaven University at the Refuge Golf Club in Flowood, Mississippi, on Monday to lead the tournament heading into day two of the tournament.
The Bulldogs hold a one stroke lead over second place Hinds CC and a seven stroke lead over third place Centenary.
Texas Lutheran sophomore Brandon Munson (Livingston/Livingston) leads the tournament at three-under (69), wrapping his opening round with six birdies. Fellow sophomore Cooper Hollomon (Bellville/Bellville) is right on his heels in second place, trailing Munson by two strokes at one-under (71).
Shea Eason (Round Rock/Round Rock) is tied for 20th at five-over and Van Miller (Katy/Seven Lakes) is tied for 22nd at six-over.
Octavio Cantu (Mission/Sharyland) and Jeffrey Janik (Harlingen/Harlingen School of Health Professions) are tied for 45th at 12-over.
The Bulldogs will begin their final round tomorrow morning at The Refuge Golf Club. Live stats will be available here.
