Texas Lutheran collects four-set loss at Austin College

SHERMAN, Texas -- The Texas Lutheran Bulldogs dropped a four-set conference match Saturday morning against Austin College.
 
At Austin College's Hughey Gym, the Bulldogs fell 21-25, 25-14, 25-8, 25-15.
 
The Bulldogs are 0-4 overall and 0-4 in the Southern Collegiate Athletic Conference.
 
Austin College improved to 2-2 overall and to 2-2 in the SCAC.
 
TLU was held to a .042 hitting percentage. Austin College hit .200 for the match.
 
Cailey Young led TLU with 11 kills on 36 attempts. Hayden Smyers added nine kills.
 
Kacie Hall delivered 21 assists, and Lexi Morris collected 15 digs. Hall also had four blocks.
 
TLU plays its first two home matches of the year next Saturday when it hosts Centenary (La.) at noon and 4 p.m.
