Biography

2018: Young (New Braunfels/New Braunfels) was named to the SCAC Academic Honor Roll for the second time at TLU. Received the SCAC All-Sportsmanship Award for the second-straight year. She led the Bulldogs with 207 kills last season. She averaged 2.23 kills/set. She had 79 digs. Four solo blocks and 22 blocking assists. Scored on four service aces.

2017: Was named to the SCAC Academic Honor Roll her freshman year. Received the SCAC All-Sportsmanship Award. Played in 33 matches and 118 sets. She was fourth on the team with 158 kills. Had 13 solo blocks and 68 blocking assists. 100 digs and 15 service aces.

High School Accomplishments in Athletics: All-Academic 1st Team two years in a row; varsity player for 3 years; first round playoffs four years in a row

List of Community Service Work While at TLU: Write to Serve intern; raised money for Watoto; 4 years service with the New Braunfels Rotary Club; Honors course work with Mosaic; Current internship with The Salvation Army of New Braunfels.
