SHREVEPORT, La. -- The Texas Lutheran Bulldogs jumped out to a 23-14 lead in the first quarter and posted a 69-58 conference road win Sunday over the Centenary College Ladies.
TLU moved to 6-8 overall and to 4-3 in the Southern Collegiate Athletic Conference.
Centenary fell to 1-14 overall and to 1-7 in the SCAC.
Hroch and Hairell each went 7-for-12 from the field. Hroch had six offensive rebounds. Hairell had two steals and a block.
Campos made three of TLU's six three-pointers.
Tara Molina dished out six of TLU's 17 assists.
The Bulldogs shots 41.5 percent from the field and took 18 more total shots than the Ladies. The Bulldogs turned the ball over just six times and took advantage of 13 Centenary turnovers.
TLU also held a 39-30 edge in rebounds.
Bre Frierson led Centenary with 19 points. Jennae Mayberry added 10 points and five rebounds.
The Bulldogs return home this Friday and Saturday for home games against University of Dallas and Austin College, respectively.
