SEGUIN, Texas -- Texas Lutheran jumped out to a 14-0 lead in the first quarter and cruised to a 79-53 home win Friday night over the University of Dallas Crusaders.
TLU moved to 7-8 overall and to 5-3 in the Southern Collegiate Athletic Conference.
Dallas fell to 3-10 overall and to 1-6 in the SCAC.
Dominique Campos, TLU's senior shooting guard, led the Bulldogs with 15 points in 24 minutes of action.
TLU out-rebounded Dallas 43-25. The Bulldogs had 14 offensive rebounds.
The Bulldogs ended the night at 50 percent shooting from the floor and 50 percent shooting from the three-point line. Davis made all three of her three-point shots.
Dallas shot 28.6 percent from the field and 26.9 percent from the arc.
TLU continues SCAC play Saturday with a 6 p.m. home contest against Austin College.
