SEGUIN, Texas -- Texas Lutheran Women's Basketball rolled into the 2019 Southern Collegiate Athletic Conference Tournament with a 68-55 home victory Sunday over Centenary (La.).

The Bulldogs will go into the conference tournament, set for TLU's Memorial Gymnasium Feb. 22-24, as the tournament's three seed. TLU will face the No. 6 seed on Friday at 2 p.m.

TLU improved to 16-9 overall and to 12-4 in the SCAC. Centenary dropped to 8-17 overall and to 6-10 in the SCAC.

On TLU Senior Day, freshman point guard Jenesis Navarro (San Antonio/Lee) led the Bulldogs with 13 points, five rebounds and two assists.

Redshirt sophomore Kasey Hairell (Hallettsville/Hallettsville) added 11 points and four rebounds. Fellow redshirt sophomore Tara Molina (San Antonio/Johnson) chipped in 10 points, four assists and three steals.

TLU made 10 three-pointers and held Centenary to 32.1 percent from the field and 27.3 percent from the three-point line.
