BELTON, Texas --Â Texas Lutheran notched a 1-1 draw with the University of Mary Hardin-Baylor on Saturday in Belton, Texas.Â
The Bulldogs found the back of the net early as
Raquel Morris (San Antonio/Johnson) knocked in a goal just three minutes and 28 seconds into play. With an assist from
April Sulaica (San Antonio/Antonian), Morris put a header right over the goalie to give TLU a 1-0 lead.Â

Stephanie Barrientos (Mission/Sharyland Pioneer) held strong in goal, making three saves in the first half as the Bulldogs maintained the lead. Barrientos played the entire 110 minutes and made nine total saves for the Bulldogs.
Chelsea Graham knocked home the equalizer for UMHB in the 70th minute.

The Cru held a 16-7 edge in total shots and 10-4 advantage in shots on goal.
The teams played two 10-minute overtime periods after 90 minutes of regulation. TLU's overall record stands at 1-0-1. UMHB also holds a 1-0-1 record.
