SHREVEPORT, La.-- Texas Lutheran Women's Basketball fell on the road to Centenary College 67-52 in TLU's conference-opener Friday night.Â
At the Gold Dome, the Ladies held the Bulldogs to a field goal percentage of 34.67 and out-scored TLU 46-29 in the second-half.
 Centenary improved to 3-9 overall and 1-1 in the Southern Collegiate Athletic Conference.
TLU dropped 4-8 overall and to 0-1 in conference play.Â
Cami Davis led TLU with 11 points. She added three assists, two rebounds and a steal.Â
Madyson Garcia added 10 points to go along with one steal and a defensive rebound.
For the Ladies, Jasmine Morris scored 13 of her 17 total points in the second half. Morris also led the squad with five steals.
Samantha Lyons came off the bench to add 11 points, three rebounds and two steals for Centenary.Â
The Bulldogs have a travel day and return to conference play Sunday in Sherman, Texas to take on Austin College. Game time is set for 2 p.m. at Hughey Gymnasium.Â
