SEGUIN, Texas -- Texas Lutheran Men's Basketball dropped a Southern Collegiate Athletic Conference game Saturday evening against Colorado College, 58-54.
TLU lost both games on the conference schedule at home this weekend and fell to 7-12 overall and to 3-5 in the SCAC.
Colorado College moved to 9-11 overall and to 4-5 in the SCAC.
TLU defeated CC on the road last weekend in Colorado Springs, Colo., but the Tigers returned the favor in TLU's Memorial Gymnasium. The Tigers held TLU to 34 percent shooting for the game.
CC shot just 35.1 percent for the game but manufactured 10 more total shots than TLU. The Tigers had seven less turnovers than TLU. Colorado College turned the ball over just seven times in 40 minutes of play.
The Tigers' point guard, Eric Houska, scored 25 points and added two assists. Sophomore forward CooXooEli Black contributed 17 points and six rebounds.
Houska and Black were the only two Tigers to hit double figures. Chris Martin and Ryan Young each had seven rebounds.
Nathan Josephs led TLU with 14 points and 10 rebounds.
Jacob Kouremetis added 13 points.
Sebastian Andrade recorded 11 points and pulled down seven rebounds.
Jackson Willoughby also had seven rebounds.
The Bulldogs return to action this Tuesday in Memorial Gymnasium with a 5:30 p.m. conference game against Southwestern.
