SEGUIN, Texas -- Texas Lutheran rallied from a halftime deficit of nine points to force overtime Saturday against Schreiner University, but the Mountaineers out-scored TLU 15-4 in the extra session to register an 81-70 road win over the Bulldogs.

Jacob Kouremetis hit three free throws to tie the game with 17 seconds to play in regulation to help TLU force overtime.
TLU went 1-for-7 in the overtime while Schreiner hit 3-of-4, including both three-point attempts.
Schreiner moved to 6-9 overall and to 3-1 in the Southern Collegiate Athletic Conference.
TLU dropped to 5-10 overall and to 1-3 in the SCAC.
Keenan Gumbs led Schreiner with 22 points, seven rebounds and two blocks. Luis Mancillas added 12 points and five assists. Blake Kelley delivered 12 rebounds and seven points.
The Mountaineers shot 48.1 percent from the field for the game. Schreiner made five of its first six three-point attempts.
TLU shot 26.5 percent in the first half and trailed at the break 31-22. The Bulldogs' shooting percentage went up to 43.3 for the second half.
The Bulldogs struggled all night from the three-point line. TLU went 0-for-12 in the first half and 4-for-34 for the game.
Nathan Josephs led TLU with 20 points.
Sebastian Andrade added 10 points and eight rebounds.
Shawn Hamilton registered 13 points, four blocks and three rebounds.
TLU hits the road for conference games next week at the University of Dallas (5:30 p.m. Friday) and at Colorado College (11 a.m. MST Sunday).
