SEGUIN, Texas-- Texas Lutheran Women's Basketball fell at home 71-61 in a Southern Collegiate Athletic Conference game Friday night against 13th-ranked Trinity University.
In TLU's Memorial Gymnasium, the Bulldogs shot 28.6 percent from the arc, hitting only four of 14 threes for the night. TLU shot 35.8 percent overall.
TLU dropped to 4-10 overall and 0-3 in conference. Trinity improved to 10-2 overall and 3-0 in the SCAC.
Sophomore guard
Dominique Campos (Alexander/Laredo) led the Bulldogs in scoring with 15. She added two defensive rebounds and two assists.
First-year forward
Abby Hroch (Calhoun/Port Lavaca) pulled down a game-high 10 rebounds to go along with her 12 points. She added two blocks for the Bulldogs.
Cami Davis (Marion/Marion) put up 14 points for TLU, and she added four steals, five rebounds and an assist.
Micah Weaver paced the Tigers with 27 points and 10 rebounds. Weaver posted six steals and six assists. Abby Holland added 15 points and four rebounds.
The Bulldogs have a quick turnaround as they take on Schreiner University tomorrow at home. Tip-off is set for 6 p.m. in the Doghouse. Live video and live stats will be available via tlubulldogs.com.
