SEGUIN, Texas -- Leading in shots 20-9, lands East Texas Baptist a 2-1 win over Texas Lutheran Sunday afternoon at Gustafson Field.
With a late goal in first half, the Tigers took the lead 1-0 going into halftime. The Bulldogs came back strong in the second period and tied it up with a goal by freshmen
Tanya Prazelini. Sophomore
Mikayla Wallace assisted on the Prazelini goal.
Swann scored for ETBU in the 58th minute of play to break the 1-1 tie and solidify a road win the Tigers.
Stephanie Barrientos dished out four saves in the first 45 minutes of play, and
Mikaela Gilbert added five in the second half.
The Bulldogs face Southwestern University in their first Southern Collegiate Athletic Conference match of the season. Kick off will be at 7 p.m. in Seguin at Gustafson Field.
