KERRVILLE, Texas -- Texas Lutheran knocked off Southern Collegiate Athletic Conference leader Schreiner for a second time this season jwith a 78-69 road win Friday night at Stephens Family Arena.

Sterling Holmes poured in 21 points and added six rebounds and two assists.
Jordan Kouremetis registered 14 points and five rebounds, and he made three three-pointers.
Zach Behr contributed 13 points and three rebounds.
Harris Jowell chipped in nine points and six rebounds.
TLU improved to 13-8 overall and to 7-3 in the SCAC. The Bulldogs moved within one game of Schreiner, who dropped to 10-10 overall and to 7-2 in the SCAC.
TLU led 41-29 at the break and had a 16-point lead with 6:03 to play in the first half.
The Bulldogs registered 19 second-chance points and 26 points in the paint.
TLU held Schreiner to 38.46 percent shooting in the first half.
The Bulldogs head to San Antonio for Saturday's conference matchup with Trinity. Game time is set for 6 p.m.
