MOUNT BERRY, Ga. -- At Kay Williams Field, sixth-ranked Berry College swept a home doubleheader from seventh-ranked Texas Lutheran with 10-0 and 10-4 wins.

Berry's game-one starter Marie Collop (2-0) tossed her second consecutive no-hitter in a five-inning performance against the Bulldogs.

The game was called in the fifth due to the run-rule. Berry scored eight runs in the bottom of the fifth to break open what had been a 2-0 game.

Collop struck out seven and allowed just one base-runner. Kyla Lockley walked in the first to lead-off the game. After Lockley reached, she was caught stealing, so Collop faced the minimum 15 over five innings.

In game two, Berry scored three runs in the first and seven in the second to open up a 10-0 lead.

Kelsie McEachern homered for TLU in the third. The two-run shot also scored Lockley. Cassie Roche had a pair of sacrifice flies to account for the other two Bulldog runs.

TLU, now 0-4, looks for its first win of the year on Saturday when it faces Birmingham-Southern in a doubleheader in Birmingham, Alab. The doubleheader begins at noon at BSC.
